Notable cars you've seen in "the wild"

Post by Cobey »

I once drove behind a probably 2012-14ish blue Dodge Viper in Monticello

I also used to see an original GT350 (or a really well done resto-mod) in British Racing Green tooling around Downtown Minneapolis.

Saw a Ferrari today on 94 W, in line to get on 694 E

Unfortunately it was one of these phallic looking monstrosities...

500hp British Racing Green Supercharged Range Rover.. see it every day in fact..

:D

Living in Plymouth I will see a Ferrari from time to time. Lot's of AMG Mercedes.. I've seen a Viper or two. There's a nice Shelby Cobra(guessing it's a kit) tooling around town. I also see some old school rides, like 30s-50s era, that I have no clue what they are but they look great.

Probably not notable but I saw a red Nissan GTR this morning. I really like the look of them.

I saw another GTR last week. It was dark and I recognized the tail lights immediately. Great looking car.

Back in the late 1990's and early 2000s I'd drive around during Vikings Training camp and would see lots of awesome, exotic cars. Moss's Lambo and others. I remember seeing the spinning wheels for the first time then. the last 5-10 years of camp in Mankato you didn't notice their cars as much.. They weren't in town as long and the players weren't driving around in the free time. Plus spinning wheels and luxury SUVs were more common with regular people.

I wasn't into cars when I'd see them or I would have a better idea what I saw.. I was more "OMG.. there's Moss driving" than I was.. OMG thats a "xyz car"

Saw what I call "The Big 3" of performance in about a 30 minute span a couple weeks ago in Stillwater.

Red Ferrari
Black Porsche
Lambo with a FUGLY black/gold wrap

There's also been a Red w/white stripe Ford GT and black Viper roaming around on occasion over the summer.
