This sucks. The show served its purpose - it wicked me and many others into the sticky Amazon Prime web. It was still a joy to watch, but it wasn’t the same as Top Gear. It wasn’t a budget issue - they had plent to spend. I simply wonder if it wasn’t just time. They are 50-60 years old. It wasn’t going to last forever.

The specials were always entertaining. I always enjoyed when they would each buy an epic piece of shit for a couple of grand and then take an impossible road trip with it. Those were always more fun and enjoyable then the supercar episodes - although those were certainly fun, too. I’m blaming the loss of the Stig for the show’s demise.
