If the price stays relatively consistent with what it is now, this may be the biggest performance value in the industry

At the base, this might be the single best value in the industry today. $60,000 for the stingray trim level

Curb weight is about the same as my Fiesta though. Unless you're racing/tracking it, you don't really need a hell of a lot more.

It's alright. Would rather have a 58 convertible.

I'm not a huge fan of the Corvettes prior to about 2012, honestly.

They say upper $50's to $60's...that when the Chevy salesman take over....."Hey, would ya like floor mats buddy.....well that's another $1k" "Hey, did you know you could get a battery to start the car for another $300?"

Out the door with tax, title and license for $80k after salesman Timmy fucks you with his 12" strap-on.

You might as well have said, "The curb weight is about as much as a striped down 2007 Ford Focus..with a shitty engine and sketch brakes"

You're probably not wrong there, but that's not uncommon across all dealerships. There were places locally that marked the Civic Type R up to the mid 40k range when that came out. Hyundai dealers are doing the same with the Veloster N right now

Why would anyone want a fully loaded, non stripped down car, first of all? That shit is for soccer moms who dont like driving. You're not wrong about the brakes though, the stock brakes are not durable at all, thankfully that's an easy DIY upgrade. The 1.6L engine is a masterpiece though.
