Scientific stuff, religious stuff, and all of the shit we don't yet know about like spooky ghosts and bigfoot.

The Bible. Ficton or Non-Fiction?

Either way there are some great stories in there. Hopefully they find Noah's Arc one day. The thing has to be the size of Kansas.

I hope it’s non fiction. Watching the book of Revelation unfold is gonna be awesome!

It's like the Bohemian Rhaspsody movie. Some of it was true, but it was mostly poppycock.

I'd say a lot of what happened was try, just not the why it happened. Did the sea turn red? Yes. Due to a volcanic eruption, not the wrath of god.

If you are talking about Moses and the plagues, it was Probably an algae bloom.

The whole Adam & Eve and, later, Noah's family incest angle has me doubting the validity of said novel...

The bible was put together by Constantine 400 years after the death of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Some writings were omitted and I'm sure some liberties were taken. The book is a fantastic moral compass, and the church is a great place to be reacclimated weekly to the importance of kindness and community.

However, Moses probably didnt see God as a Burning Bush but rather was high on the bark of the acacia tree which contains DMT, and was mentioned numerous times in the Old Testament, meaning it was native to the area. When you compare that to the shaman or medicine men of Native American/American Indian traditions, then it entirely possible.

Now the question becomes: Does one meet GOD in another dimension while tripping on psychedelics? Or is your brain creating the illusion of GOD while on psychadelics?

For more information, I suggest reading The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross, by John Marco Allegro, an English Archaeologist and Dead Sea Scrolls scholar.

They put the bible in the Non fiction section but I'm still waiting for conformation on the facts.

I think a lot of the advice from the Bible is based on experience.

We make the mistake of thinking those peoples were primitive and knew nothing. However, the very human issues of sex, acceptance, etc existed.

This is why I think the Bible is wise in telling us to avoid masturbation or extramarital sex. It isn't some arbitrary rule God made up. It was based on what was proven to allow people to live peaceful, fulfilling lives. The wisdom was there centuries ago, yet we still fall into the trap today. Things like OnlyFans and Internet porn and dating apps are just temptations to tempt us into throwing our purity out the window and giving into cheap dopamine rushes that destroy our ACTUAL happiness systems.

Give me 5 minutes talking about life with a friend or loved one over free Onlyfans subscriptions for life. East call.
