HAHAHAHAHA..... everyone can have an opinion. Yours is idiotic. If you look at Rolling Stones list of 100 Greatest guitarist, it is dominated by guitar players of previous generation. WHile I am sure that modern musicians have talent, their music sucks. It is too limited.

Cream, on the other had, had 3 musicians who were without argument amongst the best of all time at their craft. IN any valid opinion, Clapton is in the top 5 of guitarists, Jack Bruce is a top 5 bassist, and Ginger Baker a top 5 drummer.

I understand at my age I'm not familiar with today's pop artists but holy fuck. So I decided to search up all the artists I couldn't name.

One of the acts that participated is a band called Bastille. On YT they have 2.2m subscribers, and a video from 2012 called 'Pompeii" with 560 freaking millions views? I swear I've never heard the song before. I did the same for every artist I could not name at least 1 song. Man I'm getting old. :p

Interesting. I was familiar with the obvious like Chris Martin, Dave and Taylor and heard of Dua Lipa but no clue about anyone else. I did know and recognize Ellie Goulding from listening to some EDM now and again. Her song Lights was huge and has been remixed a ton.
