Ariel Pink I think has some good tunes and albums. Also define hipster music. I'm not sure what that even is really.

If you don't like a particular music, don't listen. No need to rip on them.

Like some prick from LA has the pulse on contemporary art. A Korean film won the Oscar for best film this year because Hollywood is trash. Boo this article. Boooo!

Is Modest Mouse on that list? I love them but I'd consider them Hipster.
Death Cab for Cutie is good too.

It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

I like Black Keys but I do get that they're not authentic blues.

I don't really like Bon Iver's music, but I work with his sister, and she's nice, so I shouldn't hate.

I saw them in St Paul, and now I like them way more. The whole experience was..transcendent in a way. I love that, being suprised how well somebody is live.

Was the same for me with Spiritualized. I wasn't sure how their music would translate on stage, but it was very, very powerful.Tommy_Hawk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 1:03 amI saw them in St Paul, and now I like them way more.
