Neat concept for what would otherwise just be a nostalgia thing likely played at casinos.

However, outside of everclear guy, I can’t name two songs by each of the other guys.

Abe Froman wrote: Wed Jun 12, 2019 1:40 pm So last night I went to a cool kind of show that I really hope catches on for future shows. Art Alexakis (Everclear guy), Max Collins (Eve6 guy), Chris Collingwood (Fountains of Wayne guy), and Jon Wasniak ( Marcy Playground guy) each played acoustic sets and told a little story about the songs they played, what they were about, and just general info about the bands they were in when they made it. They played some covers together, and then after the "official" show, held a question answer session where people from the smallish audience could get up and walk to a microphone and ask them anything.

It was cool as shit. Max Collins walked up the isle and spent time shaking hands with people just as if he were playing for some college band and hadn't been a somewhat big deal at one point. I learned that Art Alexakis really has no love for the other two members of Everclear at the time they blew up. The no love for their previous band thing seemed to be a running theme for 3 of them, not sure about Wasniak as he made no mention of Marcy Playground.

Anyway, it was a pretty awesome show. Reminded me of VH1's Storytellers. I think the Tour is almost over, but they were headed to SD next. If anyone down there reads this, and has a chance to go, it's worth it if you are like me and grew up listening to each of these guys.

Here's a full show video I found on YouTube to give you an idea.
