I'll start. David Gilmour is one of my favorite guitar players but I never got into Pink Floyd.

Here's another. Natalie Merchant has a beautiful voice but 10,000 Maniacs is pretty dull IMO.

Chris Cornell was an amazing talent. But I never cared for Soundgarden. I like Audioslave though.

I also never cared for Rush. But Neil Peart is the greatest drummer of all time.

I was the opposite, for a long time, in regards to Soundgarden/Audioslave. Had a hard time getting past Cornell being in RATM. It wasn’t until just after Cornell died that I really started appreciating Audioslave.

The one I’d say that jumps out at me would be Corey Taylor in Slipknot.

Good take. Anthrax is definitely the most overrated thrash band. They’re considered one of the “Big 4,” but I can think of half a dozen more deserving bands from that scene for that honor.

wes borland - guitar, loved his style - hate limp bizkit

huge p-nut guy on bass - not a big 311 guy

chad gilbert new found glory guitarist... awesome stuff. melodic and technical.... not a huge fan of the band tho
i was hoping to see some gifs of people shitting

Opposite for me. I liked the Sugarcubes more than Bjork solo. Same thing for No Doubt/Gwen Stefani.

sugarcubes seemed IMO sort of generic of the times. bjork IMO was a complete loonbird original.
