Fun fact: I saw Seger in concert, at the X back in 2006 or 2007. That was the only song that I sat down for. If I could take it off his greatest hits, I would.

i remember listening to "refugee" while in HS and thinking it was great. seger was a big listen a few years later-and mellencamp had the story with the multiple name changes and big big mid 80's hits. so this is a good comparison for sure.

as i get older though-mellencamp's music has aged quite well. not going to say he's the one-just that he's probably the one i listen to the most these days. how can you not like tom and bob though? great catalogs both too. it's a horse a piece times 3.

Same here. I’ve seen Dylan over the course of the last 19-20 years, and I’d say I think he gets better.
