The Armory is a cool venue! Maybe AIC will play Rooster.

I'm too old to go to concerts anymore but the Armory seems like a totally rad place to take one in.....is it Douglas?

Oh for sure. Something about how the place was an actual armory at one point is cool. I assume the stage for concerts is back further from where the boxing ring is, but the setup is perfect for a mid-size boxing event.

No layne=no AIC. Sorry. Ought to call it Jerry Cantrell's snakepit.

Make a new band if you're that good (which Jerry is), but dont call it AIC. Cause it's not.

I still watched MTV when Layne died. I remember hearing about it first from one of their VJ's.

I thought about trying to get to the show but $80+ is a little steep for what is essentially an AIC cover band featuring Jerry Cantrell.

For what it's worth, it's the same main lineup minus Layne.

But, I still don't know that I'd pay that to go see them, right now.

Yeah that's a little harsh, but to me Layne was AIC. His voice was so distinct and the new guy doesn't quite live up to that standard. Cantrell is a hell of a guitarist and song writer, but there's still a huge difference with the band minus Layne.
