I'm guessing Silos has been mentioned.....

I don't generally get that hyped by music from the '80s, but I heard this in a restaurant and I couldn't get it out of my head:

There is little difference between the memory of a real event and the memory of a dream.

I still have Desolation Boulevard on vinyl!!
I do too -- as well as Give Us a Wink and Off the Record. I've listened to my CD copy much more recently though.

Another gem. This time, not lip-synced. I would have to think that Sweet influenced Motley Crue at some level.

Regarding AD, Kerry Livgren was right - Christian contemporary music sucks hard. No subtlety, like later Kansas after Livgren became born-again.

Even as an atheist I can appreciate some AD/Livgren. I bought the remastered Prime Mover CD last year. Some good stuff. This is the best song on it. Soaring hook. Love the instruments.

Guarantee no one has listened to this. The opening riff is great.

I liked Kerry, but if you listen to some of those tracks I think he's missing out with that comment. To be fair I haven't listened to anything new in that genre since the mid-90's and I have no idea which era he's referring to.
