*****The Official Minnesota Lynx WNBA Game 5 Finals Thread*****

It's about time we had a dedicated forum for the most successful franchise in MN professional sports. Long overdue.

I know women's basketball doesn't get a lot of love, and is made fun of a lot, but I gotta say, I've been to about 10 Lynx games in the past couple years, and it's a fun time. They have talent (obviously), and it's a fun atmosphere, and unlike the Wolves lately, you know you're probably going to watch a victory most nights. Glad to see them win last night, got pretty intense at the end, but they have enough players that have been there before to come through. Looking forward to the title defense next year.

If that was Lindsay's last WNBA game, then she definitely left it all out there on the floor. That look she had on her face after stripping Gray on that 1-on-1 fast break in the 4th was one of pure determination. She wasn't going to let them lose. Really fun game.

When I was in middle school, my dad was adamant that we should pattern our team game after women's basketball, because you can't bail out bad decisions with athleticism like most men's college and pro teams. Solid ball movement and fundamentals.

I enjoyed watching last night. Have to say though the womens game looks sloppy and the refs should have let the ladies play.

The WNBA is kinda weird. I feel like it's a charity thing that keeps going. No one wants to say anything, but it's just an uncomfortable conversation.
