Handmaid's Tale episode 3.1 out tomorrow. I believe three new episodes from Black Mirror also out tomorrow.
Oh, no shit? I had no idea it was coming up.

I have absolutely no idea what direction this bonkers show will take. I heard it might have up to ten seasons. How could they possibly keep an audience through seven more grim seasons of despair? How many more rapes, hangings, child separations, and mutilations can we see?

S3 Fargo ticked me off last night with a throw away episode about Thaddeus Mobley/Victim's past. So I'm finishing up the first episode of Chernobyl. What happened there is some crazy shit.

Caught up through ep 3 this weekend on Chernobyl. Is pretty good. I was 23 when it happened. Remember when it happened, it was pretty big news, but never seemed as bad as it really was or could have been. Then again I was 23 and more worried about shit that impacted me. But watching this series, that was nuts. Read up on it more this morning on line. I am surprised that death toll wasn't much, much higher.
Really good mini series, I think it will be up for some awards. The main three were all really good with acting. The last episode was great for explaining what exactly happened and going back to the tense moments that lead up to the first episode. Also, nice to see our old GOT friend Roose Bolton! What up Roose!? The Lannisters send their regards.
Yeah, finished it last night. Very good and the loved how they explained everything. Damn the Soviet Union was fucked up. Probably still is.

Just finished Season 1 of Dead to Me, was a real battle to get through it.
Prolly skip any future seasons
Yeah, same here. It has good acting and the dialogue is fine and it reminds me of Weeds but, unlike Weeds, it starts right off with increasingly unbelievable storylines. It took Weeds a few seasons to really go off the rails. I mean, the plot is just not realistic.

Wouldn't recommend it.
season 2 was just approved
I started it last night. Thinking I am liking it cuz I love Christina Applegate.

I highly recommend the HBO Chernobyl podcast that goes into great details for all 5 episodes, including going over how real the story was, where they made very small changes, a lot of details they had to leave out due to time constraints, etc. Just finished #2 and it's really very good. Can be found on YouTube and I'm sure various podcast sites.

Would you prefer banging your best friend in a VR world using a character or your wife who is begging for it in the other room?

Has anyone started watching Ghoul on Netflix? It looks intriguing but haven't given it a try yet.

For movies we're looking at Brightburn.

Agreed. The main actress/writer/creator has another show from a few years ago called Crashing that is streaming on Netflix. I put in on the Watch List but haven't started it yet.

Linda Cardellini! She was in Freaks and Geeks and Grandma's Boy, which are both great. I think she was on one of the run of the mill cop or lawyer shows on network TV too.

Watched episodes 9 & 10 of the new Twilight Zone last night.

Episode 10 was a masterpiece.

Jordan Peele did such an awesome job with this franchise. TZ is incredibly difficult to capture due to the brilliance of Rod Sterling's original series and JP was able to modernize the stories and issues they touched on while staying true to the scifi/horror aspects and not overdoing either part.

I've been up and down with the show. Season 1 was slow for me, I really enjoyed season 2. Season 3 was decent and then I watched the first few episodes of season 4 and kind of gave up. I'll probably go back to it at some point.
