***Official Froob Chat Preposterous Statement Tournament Thread!!!***

I would like to start an annual preposterous statement tournament for posts made on this site. I'm going to need a few volunteers to assist me with this in about a year as we go through this thread to determine which posts make it in. In the mean time, over the next year, I need all Froobs to post preposterous statements using the following format:

1.) A quote of the preposterous statement
2.) The author of the post included in the quote
3.) And a link to the thread quoted.

Since I don't want this to become a complete pain in the ass to weed through, I'm allowing all statements from the past year to be included in this as well as any statement created over the next year.

The yearly winner will earn a banner of his or her achievement, and an entire day on Froob Chat Named in their honor.
