Are you happy, or are you sad?
Matthews has agreed to a contract with the rams.
You guys always claimed that he was overrated, 1 trick pony, "Clayroid", etc.
So, now that he's gone, do you wish he was still with the Packers? Since he wasn't very good to begin with?
Or are you happy he's out of the division so your team doesn't have to face him twice a year?

Happy I don't have to watch quite as much of the constant helmet off hair flipping, and maybe an end to those "roommate" commercials with Erin.snicker wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 8:55 pm Matthews has agreed to a contract with the rams.

I so feared facing him twice a year. Maybe 7 year's ago.snicker wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 8:55 pm Matthews has agreed to a contract with the rams.

sad to see him go, but really happy for him getting that contract to finish his career down the road from his home. thanks for the memories, clay!
best moment of the superbowl win was his forced fumble... the "mic'd" up version of that gives me chills hearing kevin green say " it is time..." and clay calling the play for pickett causing a huge turnover

I wish he was still a packer. He hasn’t been worth a shit for 5 years now.

He was really good at looking like he was busy out there. He was like the guy on a construction site walking briskly all over the place with a 2 x 4 under his arm. "Whoa...lookit that guy...he looks busy."
Don't really care. It's not like the packers are relevant. This is like talking about the Buccaneers' long snapper.

if he gets the chance down the road, will Clem drill Rodgers with one of his patented cheap shots?

I am sad that the Ghaymaker won't continue to eat up an inordinate amount of the Puker's salary cap. LOL!!!

I always enjoyed his half assed effort on this one with a trip to the NFC Championship on the line.

I wish he was still on the Packers so we could play against him. I especially liked when we'd run the ball right at him and he'd be too busy running past the RB (getting washed out of the play) trying to get a sack.snicker wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 8:55 pm Matthews has agreed to a contract with the rams.

It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

You mean the one where he spears QB's in the arm intentionally trying to break it? My guess is he will.Billy Baroo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 9:04 pm if he gets the chance down the road, will Clem drill Rodgers with one of his patented cheap shots?

I am happy he is now playing for a contender. The Rams defense just took a step back.
