The purple are running out of precious few opportunities to beat a team with a winning record.

Kirk Cousins is also running out of opportunities to debunk the theory that he can't win the big game against a team with a winning record.

It's been a season of disappointments and under achievement for both our clubs. The Seahags emptied their roster of the legion of boom and were supposed to be in rebuild mode. The purple paid big bucks to retain all their stars and even added more, but are not getting a return on all that talent.

A win tonight might spark a little run that could build some confidence at just the right time. Another loss would be a big pile of negativity on top of the cake of despair.
