Can Aaron Rodgers defeat the vaunted Seattle "no longer has the Legion of Boom" Seahawks?
I mean, did you see how Rodgers carved up that 29th ranked defense for less than 200 yards?
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Let's get some predictions in here boy's!

I'm going..

Seattle 27

Packers 23

This one is going to be a heartbreaker on the road. Packer fans will finally feel like the season is turning around on the verge of first time back to back wins and winning a game on the road this season and BOOM! Russell Wilson will do his best Aaron Rodgers impersonation and pulk it out at the end.

Of the nine short week Thursday games the home team has won seven. The only two home teams to lose were just really bad teams (Giants & Cards who are both 2 - 7).

I wish the NFL would eliminate these games, but they won't because of $$.

The Packers next 2 road games could define their season (Seattle and purple)

The purples next 4 will define theirs.

I would have to pick Seattle in this one??

Well considering GB hasn't won a road game all year, maybe they should just let GB play every game at home?

This Seattle game will define GBs season. If they lose, it won't matter if they beat Minnesota. The season will be virtually over for them. They would have to "Run the tables" again and this team doesn't have the talent to get that done this year.

Why not do a Saturday night game? Surely they would get even more peopke watching and it's only one day difference.

I've previously said Friday night one game versus Thursday night. And try to get teams playing Friday night off the byes so maybe you don't have a Friday night game a few weeks but you do have Saturday night games come mid to late December.

Week 1 -- Thursday traditional opener, Friday night game the day after
Week 2 -- two of the four teams above play each other on Friday night
Week 3 nothing
Week 4 -- Week 13 -- teams coming off byes
Week 15-17 -- Saturday night games instead of friday's

Oh sure. Packers get extra rest before the Vikings game, while the NFL suddenly moves the Vikings to Sunday night before playing the packers.

Nuts and bolts....we get screwed.

I see the Packers winning this one. They're +2.5 to +3 but it's tempting to take them on the money line this week.

There are good memories in Seattle !!

http://archive.jsonline.com/sports/pack ... 5111.html/

Rodgers, however, probably played as poorly in Seattle as he has in any of his 11 playoff games. You can come up with any number of excuses why that was the case, but the fact remains it was one of his three or four worst performances of the season and his team couldn't overcome it.

The Packers built their big lead because of turnovers, defense, run game and, yes, special teams (Mason Crosby's five field goals, Brad Jones' forced fumble on a kickoff return, Micah Hyde's 29-yard punt return).

Their passing game, on the other hand, was all but null and void.

Great players need to make great plays in big games like this, and Rodgers really didn't make any at all.

Yikes! The "Backahs" don't seem confident. Picking their team to lose. Chuck complaining about Thursday night games like the Packers should be excluded from them.

Ouch!

If Green Bay loses, Rodgers will be 8-8-1 since the start of last season.
Rodgers is a .500 QB now. Peyton Manning made the Colts a 12 win team.
Rodgers makes the packers a .500 team.

That holding call on the return completely changed the complexion of this game. It was like they were looking for something to call in that situation.

Right?

Jaymo's feel'en lonely. He's been hanging out at one of his multitude of Packer sites and yet he just can't stay over there.

He has to bring it all over here. Five straight posts.

Wow, that Jaymo guy is desperate.
