Where did you watch?
internet
I get that. I just used to always stream boxing but now I pay because I would also get shit streams etc..

People always tell me "Facebook had it" but how do you find a stream of FB? I don't have a FB account so I'm not familiar.

Redditch links usually suck and I had the whole Kodi setup but it was usually more tucking around then what it was worth.
Use Reddit for streams. I dont go to reddit at all, but when theres a stream I need, i go. Use the google search terms of whatever you want, followed by "reddit" and "stream."

In this instance, I google "khabib Mcgregor reddit stream" takes you to a reddit page that has a bunch of links to streams, and they got moderators that delete bad links. I used this technique for the Mayweather/McGregor fight too.

Ya I have used those. Real hit and miss for me. Probably easier with big events.

Fight was an obvious pick. Conor just cashed in $100 mil from the Mayweather fight. He wasn't thirsty, he already had his payday (though apparently he might make upwards of $50 mil for this fight, depending on the ppv numbers...which he gets win or loss). Other guy, even with the title is/was still thirsty for money.

way harder with big events. Big events got people scanning the internet to delete those streams. I would get a good stream up, then it would be shut down a minute or so later. I went through like 5 streams before finally finding one that wouldnt get shut down. The key was searching the forum for a stream that wasnt upvoted a bunch where thousands of people were watching. Had to find a low-def stream that not a lot of people were watching...it was less likely to get reported, and lasted the whole fight.

I ordered the PPV. It was worth it between 3 people. Great fights. Khabib constricted Connor, just like everyone else he's fought. That shit was crazy. Rory Mcilroy and Matt Damon were in that crowd. That wasn't WWE. Worth every penny for the PPV stream. What will happen next?

Shut the fuck up.

Conor got his ass beat, and then he got every loud mouth insult he’s ever hurled right back in his face.

Khabib jumping over the fence, or others jumping into the octagon to confront Conor?

Yeah, where’s your bus now, Conor?

Conor was definitely missing his usual swagger. Even when buffer was doing the intros, I said he's not in this. He doesnt even care about this fight. Maybe he will for a rematch, given what happened after. But I think we've seen the last of conor doing anything but money fights, sadly

Conor lost because he “wasn’t thirsty”.

He can be as thirsty as he wants, he’s not beating Khabib. Welcome to the WWF, Conor Rousey, you’re done.

I didn't say he lost cause he wasnt thirsty, I said the fight was an obvious pick. He looked so disinterested right from the get-go. I also agree that he's probably done as a fighter. He just got embarrassed, and he has no monetary reason to fight anymore. He could just disappear too, but he clearly likes the spotlight. Maybe get into promotions or something.

I think taking a year off really hurts fighters, especially when healthy. The "ring rust", the lack of mentality yada yada. Jones didn't look good against OSP, took another year off, did good against Cormier, but got popped for turinabol so yeah.
Conor just has no ground game, but clearly outclassed Khabib on his feet (especially in the 3rd). Outside of one good knockdown punch, Khabib didn't have much on the feet game. Different styles and Khabib came out on top. Now if they went at it again, it could very well be like Diaz and he comes back with the win. I saw weakeness in Khabib vs Al Iaquinta and think he can be overcome.

Probably rigged for a rematch. I can't stand MMGay. I'm a boxing guy but I want to see this. I just read about it. Did you find a stream?
yep. Was able to watch the whole fight. Man, Connor is so over hyped and overrated. I've watched three fights of his, and each one he got destroyed. First fight was him getting his title taken away, 2nd one was the Mayweather fight, 3rd one was this.

Seriously wondering if MMA is just WWE now though, after what I just saw. That shit was so bizarre...Khabib jumps out of the ring after winning and starts a fight with who knows who? Meanwhile a guy in the cage throws a punch at Connor while another guy jumps the cage at punches Connor in the back of the head when he isnt paying attention...Khabib isnt granted the belt in the ring because David says shits going to be thrown if that happens...they escort Khabib out and the crowd starts throwing shit at him...

like, what the fuck just happened? The fight didnt seem scripted, but who knows. Looking back, Connor seemed to tap out due to a choke hold, but he didnt seem to be in a choke hold. Then shit just went crazy.
Conor has never lost a fight as Champion. The Diaz fight yeah he got choked out, but then came back and beat Diaz, then went on to beat Alvarez.

The tapout was for a Neck Crank. "a spinal lock applied to the cervical spine causing hyperextension, hyperflexion, lateral hyperflexion, hyperrotation or extension-distraction". So he wasn't choked out per say, but its a painful hold.
Don't think you could script what happened......too many cops involved, too many rich people in the crowd, even the Governor went running out of the arena apparently.

Fair enough, even though UFC wanted the Diaz fights too, then stripped him of the Featherweight for fighting in the Light Heavyweight Division.

This. You nailed it.

I got worried when he didn't care to look Khabib in they eye during the ref-meeting.

I'm a Conor Guy all day. But I was like "brah, that aint good" when he wasn't agreeing to do the press-conference stuff. He did his one and overplayed his hand. Conor needs to go into the ring with the psychological advantage. When he has the mental advantage (and you can literally see it in his opponents until Khabib) he goes in ready to dominate.

In the case with the one press conference. There was no crowd- only media. He over-talked, got drunk...and Khabib was terminator like. What I underestimated and Conor for that matter, was Khabib was literally taking Conor's sh-t talk to heart and using it as fuel. Where most guys feel flummoxed mentally or lol-it off- after dealing with Conor and his antics...Khabib was fired up and fed off it. Competely backfired. Conor had to eat and choke on a thousand words Sat night.

At one point Khabib had an open hand jab that landed, he stepped back and showed Conor..."I just slapped you". In rd three, after Conor withstood the crazy onslaught from Khabib in rd 2-if I recall right, Conor came out in rd 3 humbled, to me intimidated and put his fist out for a "touch gloves" show of respect, Khabib wanted none of it. Conor said during the original presser, "respect out of fear is weakness" about Khabib and his father....that was Conor showing respect out of fear in that moment to me.

Conor was completely out of his element.

Conor needs to add to his skill set at some point. His "pin-point" strike game and reliance on it...caught up to him. He'll never be a ground guy and that's fine. But he needs to work on "ground prevention"-counters and ground escape and survival maneuvers (which he did decently in round 1) along with yet again his conditioning.

I loved this fight and all the angles to it. Before, during and after. I was and am a Conor-fan. But I've got nothing but respect for Khabib. Everything he did after that fight, I respect that too. It is the fight game.

Pretty much spot on. I can’t stand McGregor and I doubt this ass whoopin’ does much to humble him. I think he actually believes that he hung with Floyd in that boxing match when in reality, Floyd could have ended it any time he wanted.

There are certain areas, with certain guys, that you don’t enter, and Conor and his team trampled all over them with Khabib. The last thing Khabib wanted to do was release that neck crank.

Mendes exposed how flawed McGregor is, Diaz took advantage of it, and Khabib destroyed him with it.

And as far as Khabib going over the cage, if you do some digging, you’ll find a video of Conor trying to do the exact same thing and throwing a punch at one of Khabib’s guys. Luckily for Conor, somebody grabbed him and pulled him down because if he had made it out, he might be dead.

Ferguson deserves the next shot. Conor can get in line.

Just saw a vid of Conor surviving (I think round 2??) mics pick up him saying to Khabib "It's just business"...his will was slowly breaking and at that point, he was hoping Khabib would let up a little bit. Next round Conor comes out and tries to touch gloves. This wasn't deep water he was in...this was him sunk.

I'm curious if he even makes it on the 6-fight deal. My opinion he went from the fun, brash, trash talking passionate fighter, to hitting the tops, making all that money, bought into this "character" that's not him....and went full blown mean spirited, jack-azz. He's gotta get back to pre-Mayweather pay-day Conor, start showing that charm/joking-side vs. this "i'm rich, I'm an asshole and can talk shit about your family!"

Mendes didn't "expose" McGregor....he took him down a few times, but McGregor got up every time (except the one that ended Rd 1) and he knocked him the fuck out. He exposed that he isn't a wrestler, I guess, but to completely dismiss his skills as a combat athlete is simply ignorant. Chad Mendes is a fucking stud and he comes from a wrestling background, similar to Khabib. The difference is that Mendes is far more complete in his game.

I want to see Ferguson v Khabib as much as anybody because I think Ferguson has the game from his back to beat Khabib. Unfortunately, I think that matchup is cursed. They've tried making that matchup 2 or 3 times now. Unfortunately, I think the money that a rematch will bring is going to be too much for Dana White to pass on. I would rather see the Diaz trilogy and let Conor work with money fights going forward. Or at the very least, get him a lower fight (Showtime, Porier, Gaethje or similar) and make him get a W before another shot

He pretty much did. Totally exposed McGregors lack of a ground game.

Control - 5:10 to 1:40, Mendes
Takedowns - 4-7 Mendes, 0-0 McGregor

This was on two weeks notice. Mendes’s flaw was going for the submission in the 2nd rather than continuing to soften him up. But, he didn’t really have much choice due to a lack of camp time.

Conor is more one dimensional than any fighter in his division. Plus, he’s more interested in promoting his brand than he is in becoming a well rounded fighter with any sort of stamina at all.

And is there a fighter around that taps out faster than Conor McTaperson? Nope.
