2018 US Open
Tiger just tripled his first hole. He hit over the green, chipped, it rolled off, putted, it rolled off again, and then 2 putted once he finally got on the green.

And he blew a par putt on 2 for a bogey.

Dustin Johnson looking solid so far, par on all 3 holes.

Re: 2018 US Open
Rough start for Tiger, but after going +4 on the first 2 holes, -1 since, 4 back of the lead. I'm thinking E will win this year the way it's looking, should be plenty of players with a chance on Sunday if that's the case.

Tiger at plus 6 after a 4 putt. Now in the deep stuff. But hey he’s .6 under the average score which is 76.6 currently

Not looking good right now for Tiger, that's for sure. It's really amazing how he can look like a world beater sometimes, and then look like Tenna-B other times.

Make that 8 over for Tiger. He forgot how to putt. Not that it bothers me

Woods needs a miracle to make the cut. +11 after 11 and going the wrong direction. DJ leading at -2.

Re: 2018 US Open
I picked Reed to win, he's hanging in there, I just think DJ is going to be too far ahead for almost anyone to catch up, unless he implodes somehow.

Tiger, Phil, Rory, Bubba, Jordan all could very well miss the cut. As of now the cut line is +7 and all are over that

I picked DJ but also have Reed on my Draft Kings team. All it takes is one bad hole from DJ tomorrow to give the other golfers within 6-7 strokes hope.

Like I said. DJ brought a whole bunch of golfers back in the hunt for tomorrow. He’s plus 3 on the tourney with 3 others for the lead. This makes tomorrow must see tv

Well it looks like the pin placements today will be the easiest of the tourney. Expect much lower scores today as the wind is suppose to be down too.

It was bad yesterday. It’s supposed to be tough, but fair.Dan33185 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 11:39 amShould make all the whiners happyJimtown guy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 11:05 am Well it looks like the pin placements today will be the easiest of the tourney. There was 2 guys who shot -4 yesterday so it could be done. I laugh at these pampered PGA pros who whine that the USGA made it to hard for them. Patrick Reed nails it in his interview after his round. The course was hard yesterday, not unfair. There were a few pins (13, 15) a yard or 2 too close to an edge. Thank you, Patrick Reed.

Reed gets a lot of hate, but I like him a lot. Just tells it like it is, and that's exactly the way it was yesterday. Every year we get the same people whining, and they are usually the ones that played poorly, so it makes sense. At some point, it's on you to play better and not fault the course.Jimtown guy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 5:26 pm Patrick Reed nails it in his interview after his round. Reed is a bit of a loner, at least that’s what I’ve read about him. I wasn’t a big fan of his but over time I have. He could of been really bitter after today’s round considering he was -5 after 7 then the wheels came off a bit. I can see him getting 4-5 more majors before his career is over.Dan33185 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 5:53 pmReed gets a lot of hate, but I like him a lot. Re: 2018 US Open
Weren’t those morning tee times? The whole course played like a cart path in the afternoon. I think it was a USGA reaction from Erin Hills. That being said, even if it turned out to be moving backwards day, it was the same for all the leaders. I know some like watching the best brought to their knees at the US Open. It just wasn’t entertaining. And Lefty, wtf?Jimtown guy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 2:08 pm
