Kinser leading at -5, Finau 1 back, JT at -3, would be cool to see him win another major. Tiger at -1 so far.

Tiger is tied for best round of the afternoon draw so far... the British has always been the best event for him imho, he controls distance better than most even if he sprays sideways.

Nice to see Phil make the cut. He and Tiger could very well be paired tomorrow considering they are both at even par

I think Phil is one group ahead of Tiger. Would have been nice to see them play together. Might have to wait for the $10 million take all challenge between them.Jimtown guy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 5:33 pm Nice to see Phil make the cut. Spieth's TEE SHOT makes it to the green on #1 and he drains his eagle putt! WATCH OUT! Tiger now at FIVE under after 12.....if he can get it to 6 under by rounds end it is gonna be one fantastic Sunday of GAWLF!

I see Adam Scott is cheating again with the long putter. So easy to get away with anchoring to his chest the way he does. How do you prove that he is or isn't. Looks like he is on tv.

Wah wah. You got me. I'm too busy with work and the personal life to take time and catch up with my hobbies and interests. Time is not moving faster I'm just using it up without leaving time to notice.Sellingguy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 6:40 amno summer is going the same speed as it always does!CasualObserverGuy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:28 am Thought Rickie Fowler would've started hotter, 4 back so far after hist first round.

Who wins today? Probably Jordan I think by 2, but would be thrilled to see a Tiger-Jordan playoff.

Agreed. I used one once like 12 years ago, I don't know how anyone could ever use that monstrosity. He must be horrid from 2-6 feet with a regular putter.

Looks like Tiger is just plugging along while Spieth and Schauffele melt down around him, should be fun to watch.

Regardless of how Tiger finishes today to me anyways he is officially back. I’m eating crow because I really didn’t think he had it in him with what his body has been through. Very impressed

Spieth choking with the putting, it's been an odd season for him. 2 way tie now with Tiger and Schauffele as Spieth three putts 6 to double bogey.

Not sure, but Schauffele is hitting it all over the course right now, went from rough to rough to rough. He's young, so I'm sure nerves play a part...not sure what Spieth's excuse is.Jimtown guy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 10:27 amIs Tiger back to intimidating again? Looking like he could be

Looking like Molinari is going to win this thing. In the clubhouse at -8 with a bogey free round. That’s clutch.

Molinari didn't do anything spectacular today, just zero mistakes. Cool to see an Italian major winner finally, he's been playing some ridiculous golf lately.

When he took the lead around the 11th hole I really thought it was gonna happen today....till that double bogey but him in the azz.The Replacements wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 8:15 pmIt was fun to watch Tiger in contention at a major. Don't think he catches Jack but he could win another couple majors.

tiger appears to be back to playing well. one thing i noticed, other then the bunker shot is that he is not trying to kill the ball every shot.
fun to watch the social media feeds yesterday. love him or hate him or the coverage they give him, he earned it. Is it a bit much? Sometimes. But it will never bee like the 10 year run he had. Well until he goes on the senior tour!

Re: 2018 British Open thread.
Tiger will bounce back from this, it's his first top 10 in a major since 2013. Justin Leonard put it best when he said that Tiger really hasn't played a ton of pressure golf lately, he wanted to hit the perfect shot on 11 but when he dominated he played like Molinari and minimized mistakes.
Watching him on his tee shots this week, he looked much more in control, he knows what his body can't do anymore, and that's actually going to be an advantage going forward for him. Career renaissance could happen. The British and Masters will remain his best events for the duration of his career, both cater to experience and controlling your distance, something Tiger can still do better than most.
