It is going to cost him his job though. Unbelievable to keep coffee at the point and play dupree as much as he does. They should can him right after this gamejffl_commish wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 7:20 pm My hunch: Pitino already knows that Washington is leaving, thus playing him as little as possible.

McBrayer raised his hand as if he knew it was on him. Like to see the replay there.

The ref closest to that play, good no-call. I hate that shit. Quit giving shooters that call.

Murphy was fouled. The refs are looking to see if he was behind the line.
The ref closest to the play didn't blow the whistle. Lol wtf

I don't know how they can keep saying this Gopher team is in the tourney. College hoops must be terrible this year.
They have lost 6 of 7 and are 3 under .500 in the 10. Absolutely no way they are in.

They're in unless they can win out. It's not happening.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 7:31 pm I don't know how they can keep saying this Gopher team is in the tourney. College hoops must be terrible this year.

Bubble is super soft. If they find a way to win 2 more, plus one in the tourney, they're pretty much a lock.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 7:31 pm I don't know how they can keep saying this Gopher team is in the tourney. College hoops must be terrible this year.

That said, they're better off just starting over with a new coach. I'd just suggest not hiring a 60-year-old with no coaching experience.

I'd trust in Coyle to make a good hire. I wish the bubble wasn't weak this year. You can't lose a game like today and get in.feekdogg wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 7:40 pmBubble is super soft. Just an asinine loss. W me are real good at finding ways to lose. The one dumbass not calling the foul on Murphy was classic.

I agree. Coyle made a good hire by getting Fleck and he's more of a basketball guy coming from Syracuse.HeHateMe wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 7:43 pmI'd trust in Coyle to make a good hire. Re: Gophers @ Rutgers
Couple of scenarios:
Win out (@NW, PUR, @Mary), lose 1st B10 tournament game......(IN)
Win two of three, win 1-2 games B10 tournament.......(IN)
I think they win @NW (lose PUR and @Mary) and win one B10 tournament game ......(OUT)

Oturu/Kalscheur 41 points on 20 shots. Coffey/McBrayer 14 points on 21 shots. FFS.

Re: Gophers @ Rutgers
Rutgers was favored to win the game, now has taken 2 of the last 3 against the Gophers, and a year from now is probably a team the Giphs will be looking up to! Nobody comes into the RAC these days looking for a cupcake. They have always been tough defensively under Pikell, when they hit their shots they are pretty damn tough.hategreenticemase wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 7:50 pm Just an asinine loss.
