12-2 with 17 games remaining. 8-9 gets you to 20-11. Win one in the big ten tournament, DANCING.
I agree, they can get on a nice little run here to start the first 9 conf games before Mich:

Even if they drop one of the next four, they’re still 5-2 going to Michigan. I think their schedule sets up nicely.

Looking forward to see how they play back to back against Washington tonight.

Free throw shooting was atrocious last night (23/38, 60%), and only shot 35% from the floor against Santa Clara.

Kalscheur and Oturu looked good.

Murphy broke the Gophers rebound record, snatched 17 last night.
Damn, Kalscheur (6'4") is 16-27 (.593) from three through four games. Comparatively, talking heads are going nuts about the range of Reddish (6'8") and Barrett (6'7") through five games and they're 17-40 (.425) and 11-34 (.324), respectively.
Checking in four months later: 5-11 from behind the arc today for Kalscheur in the Gophers' first-round win. 41.6% on the season.

Reddish: 32.7%
Barrett: 30.4%

Fun season, its gonna suck losing Murphy, he is an all time great for this team. Also losing Dupree McBrayer, who was awful, but did have some good leadership qualities.

Amir Coffey could probably be a late first round pick after the last month or so he had, hopefully he comes back (my guess is he does), or next season is lost already. Also hoping IW decides to stay, and Pitino quits yanking him around. He should have a had a huge role this year with the lack of ball handlers, even if he wasnt playing that great.

There's rumors that Mike Hurt will transfer to wherever Matt goes, which doesnt make sense to me, as I believe Mike would have to sit a year, and then Matt would probably be a one and done, so they would never play with each other. I know Mike gets a lot of hate, but I think we need him for depth purposes, and he'd be a 4 year guy here. Just having seniors around who have been part of the program for awhile helps out.

What if:

What if Tre Jones stayed home and Reid Travis grad-transferred home? This would have been one hell of a team this year.

Jones/Washington
Kalscheur/McBrayer/Stull
Coffee/McBrayer
Murphy/Hurt/Omersa
Travis/Oturu/Stockman

Bunch of coaches missed badly on Kalscheur. Think he had offers from MN, Northern Iowa and Pitt as far as "high profile" schools.

Would have been incredible. I'm far from a Duke hater but once Coach K retires, what is that program like? There's no way Tre was going to pass up on playing for Coach K but if he wasn't in the picture, why wouldn't Tre have stayed home and played with his AAU buddies? He went to all of their announcements.
