Cubs manage to win today and ya never know. Bats are still ice cold though except for the occasional solo home run.

Need to win tonight and maybe the Dodgers will feel a little pressure going back to LA.

And that's that Cubbie fans. Didn't have that feel this year. I think that Washington series just wore them out. Bats never woke up and the pitching wasn't much better. Now let's see where Arrieta ends up.

Watching the FOX pregame show...
2 observations:
1) Frank Thomas is a huuuuuge guy. He makes Big Papi look like Freddie Patek.
2) ARod is really, really good as an analyst.

Just a hunch...there will be a game 7. Verlander dominates again.

They worry about nerves and performance from Verlander?
This is a guy who is engaged to Kate Upton..

Think about the confidence he must have....he passed a performance anxiety issue that "1st time" with her apparently..

I'm feeling lazy....
could someone else look this up...?

Considering the Twins, and the future, the 3 teams left right now aren't exactly "old"...
How did they do against them this season?
(The Dodgers really don't even matter tbh, they will pay for whatever they want in the future)

The more I see Sanchez play for the Yankees, I'm confused on why they were willing to let Murphy go to the Twins in the Hicks trade..

What a catch by Springer!!!!
It would've been more impressive though if he threw his body against the wall though...
He chose to just catch it.

Springer keeps making these great plays in CF for Houston....
but he doesn't seem to need to launch his body into the wall...

Must not be very good really.

4-0 Houston in the 7th..

I'm so happy that FOX is doing the World Series this year!!!!
More Joe Buck!

Think about it....
This is how it played out in '91 when Kirby hit the homer:

Jack Buck: "We'll see you tomorrow night!"

if it was Joe:

"I'll be here again tomorrow night!!!! Puckett comes through like Rodgers in the clutch!!"

This might be a 7 game series...

Dodgers have that home field/ DH advantage..
I kinda figure that Houston wins the 2 games Verlander pitches.
(Assuming 2 and 6)

Should be fun!

1-1 on a HR.....
Hey Bucky!!!

Why didn't you show that called strike 3 on Altuve again?
It was a ball...
Kershaw didn't "paint the corner".....it was low, and center.

This series is OVAH! Dodgers are too much for the Astros. Dodgers were honestly the only really good team in a shit year of MLB.

Time for a prediction for anybody that's in this thread:

1st time FOX shows Kate Upton..

I say 2nd inning. (I assume she'll be there)
