That was perfect pre-game activities..
Paisley was perfect with the anthem.
The Vin Scully situation was great, and needed.

This is one of the problems with Buck....
regardless of the event..

You know who he is pulling for...

That's acceptable if your Richard on FSN..

But not on the national telecast.

That might be a key moment in this series....
Dodgers have the bases packed..
No outs....
and get only 1.

4-1 Astros.

Is the Dodgers skip aware that they play Fri, Sat, Sun?

Throwing out a ton o' pitchers might not be the best strategy.

Yeah, Alex Wood needs to go deep into the game tonight for Dodgers to get back in it.

I foresee some anger by the end of this game....
HP ump (Diaz) has already shown his strike zone is going to be inconsistent..

Wow!!!!
4 1/2 down....
Who would've guessed 0-0 as the score?

This is a classic series happening.

(Hell, they both won 100 games..why wouldn't it be?)

This is probably the series tonight kids...
If the Dodgers win, I doubt the Astros can take 2 in LA..
If the Astros win.....they have Verlander coming up..

Should be a great game!!

(Pissed at FOX...the best pre-game isn't on. Not on FOX, FS1, or even FS2. Its the frickin' World Series...post-game analysis of a regular season week of NFL games instead..unacceptable)

Risky by Forsythe to go to the bag there. If he just hangs back, Hernandez scores easily. He's lucky he was safe.

I think right now the Dodgers are quite content that they have Forsythe at 2nd instead of Dozier..

He's been a stud when it matters for them..

3-0 Dodgers.

terrible decision to bunt there, and it may cost them a run.

Anyone who thinks baseball is boring should be strapped in a chair and watch a replay of that game...

Astros 13-12 in 10 innings.

What a game. That crowd was great, too. For a team that didn't even register a viewer for a Sunday afternoon game they played about 5 years ago.

there's nothing like the WS when you get everything to come together for drama. you're right about the crowd. just understated. it was that crowd in all of it's ecstasy and intensity that provided the emotional fuel for the astros imo. i think you have to go back to '91 to feel that intensity from the people holding the ducats. it might have even been more intense. they wouldn't say die. and they wouldn't let their team die either. they were going to will that team to victory and themselves for a thrill of a lifetime. i hope the astros can finish the job-for their fans sake.
