what a difference between bauer and santana on tuesday. one pitcher was able to step up and dominate and one pitcher proved that the spotlight and the setting was too big for him. twins would have had their hands full with the tribe. would have been fun to see them do battle though.

Yanks don't challenge it...
Next batter, Lindor, hits the foul pole for a grand slam.....

a crushing loss for the yankees. i have to admit i felt pretty good about the outcome. getting picked off at second after you've been put in to pinch run? that guy might be the most hated man in NYC right now. girardi a close second. the indians had no business winning that game. haha.

edit: let me reverse those hate scenarios. maybe girardi is number one and the pinch runner number two. i think that the batter was nicked ever so slightly after looking at it a couple of times. i think it would have been hard to overturn. but it certainly should have been challenged.

Girardi had a bad game all-around. Displayed an amazing knack for leaving a pitcher in for one too many batters. (I'm just fine with it though  )

All of the buildup on Arizona having the Dodgers number....and then I noticed Gardy in the dugout and it became clear......
Dodgers in 3, maybe 4 games.

Tie it up....1-1.
This is probably, at this point, the tightest series..

Geez.......
Is there anything more certain in the MLB in postseason than Wade Davis? :abe:
Entering the game, 0.32 ERA....(lower now)

Cubs win 2-1...

(He is a FA.....would look damn good in a Twins uni.... )

Edit: I know that will never happen. We are talking cash for him that only maybe 3,4 teams have to offer...just a dream.

Its why ultimately the Twins weren't wrong on the trade, and shouldn't resign him unless he is in a set-up role.....
He's a role player..not one of the "guys" to take you to the next level.
He's not bad, just not a major player on a "championship" team.
