Not sure how much we could expect in return though. Not so long ago, the Twins had another Eduardo who was in a similar position (peak season, soon to be free agent, approaching 30), and all he landed us was Mejia.

I dont recall Mejia ever being a top 100. Quick search shows him as the #12 prospect in the Giants organization the year he got traded, and #9 in the Twins organization the year he got here. This according to mlb.com.Rock Me Abbrederis wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 6:42 pmAt the time, Mejia was a top 100 prospectbubu dubu. wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:33 pm Eduardo would be good trade bait. Re: MLB trade discussion.......Its on!
What are your personal takes on who you would/ wouldn't trade?
Personally...I would always listen to an offer for any player, but some I'd need to be "wow'ed" more on.
Needing the "wow"?
Rosario
Berrios
Guys I expect to be moved...
Lynn
Dozier
Escobar
Rodney
Sano
(The one that would probably gather interest also will never be traded...Mauer)

I would sell high on Rosario. I don't buy that he can be "Special" year in and out. Reminds me of another Dozier type.jakazz30 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 3:59 pm What are your personal takes on who you would/ wouldn't trade?

If they trade Sano, they should just flush this thing down the toilet and take another decade to rebuild. I don't see him moved right now.
For me it's Sano and Berrios and everyone else can be had. I understand if the relationship with Sa no is unrepairable though but I have no clue on that.

Move guys: Rodney, Lynn, Dozier. I would need to blown away to trade Sano, both Eddies and Berrios is untouchable.

As I said...."Wow" me? I listen...to an offer on anybody...at anytime..(Heck, if I was the Angels I'd listen to offers on Trout...probably laugh at them though)
The 5 I mentioned I think will be traded are for ez reasons...
1-4 have contract situations that make them ez moves....low risk.
#5....
I think the Twins might just be at a point with him..
Off field issues...
Lack of performance..
The weight..

If this organization views Escobar as untouchable, they needed to work on a new deal for him asap. Like yesterday.full force five wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:03 pm Move guys: Rodney, Lynn, Dozier. I would need to blown away to trade Sano, both Eddies and Berrios is untouchable.

For those that view Sano as "untouchable"......
I guess you are just "chicks that dig the long ball"..
because there is nothing else he has shown in his time with the Twins..
Look at the numbers..
https://www.baseball-reference.com/play ... mi01.shtml
and then throw in the "non-baseball" related issues?

Why trade Rosario? He is pretty young and turning into a really good player. Rosario is one of two franchise players on this team. Unless, they are going to completely blow this thing up, I wouldn't trade Berrios or Rosario. Sell Escobar today. See what you can get for Joe and Dozier too. Neither of those guys are team leaders.ForCaleb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 9:31 amImo, Berrios needs to be kept long term.jakazz30 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 3:59 pm What are your personal takes on who you would/ wouldn't trade?

Rosario is very streaky. I don't want him traded, but if there's a team that's willing to give you a haul in return I'd definitely think about it.flexbuffchest wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 10:57 pmWhy trade Rosario? The pace he's on this year is likely an outlier and, imo, last year's numbers is where he'll settle in (which are still very good: .290, 27 HR, 78 RBI, .836 OPS).

Keep a close eye on tonight's game....
A trade might be imminent.
Frank Wren of the Red Sox is in attendance.
Bryan Mata was pulled from his start tonight..
Rodney? Dozier?
