Berrios has always frustrated me with his high pitch counts early in games. He has the talent, but he's not there as a ACE yet.

Terry Ryan and Co.'s archaic take on pitching set this organization back big time and sadly, that can't be fixed overnight. Having said that, it's trending in the right direction and if I'm not mistaken both Bieber and Clevinger were drafted on Derek Falvey's watch. In addition, I also think he traded a couple tubs of Double Bubble for a mediocre minor league starting pitcher named Cory Kluber.

Probably expected Thorpe to cover the bag, but he didn't.

Terry Ryan would have nothing to do with Bieber and this Karinchak. They miss too many bats. Ryan's ridiculous pitch to contact philosophy was a joke..

Frustrating for sure, but Bieber wins that game 99 times out of 100. It's a shame they wasted a 9 inning 2 ER job by the pitching staff.

Can't hate that game. Can't win em all. Our bats won't be on fire every night. Stand up performance by our BP.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Twins will outlast the Indians and win the division, but will they be able to beat that kind of pitching in the postseason?

The Twins pitching staff is a good regular season staff, where they can throw a bunch of above average pitching at you, but they have no elite pitching outside of Rogers. This is where I think they will fail in the playoffs. They don't have even one starter that can outduel many they will face in the playoffs, unless Berrios takes that next step we have been waiting about 2 years for.

The Twins are hitting .225 as a team. That is very concerning.

the season's too short to be thinking outlasting teams. these games this weekend are very important. down one already. and this is what the indians have been doing so far.

It'd be nice to send this dirtbag to the showers early, but by the looks of him, he's not real interested in cleanliness.
