once you get sucked into a baseball season the intensity level starts ratcheting up right about now. it's been pretty much a playoff type atmosphere with this team since the braves came into town last week. and the indians certainly aren't going to go away. they good. it'll be fun-but tension filled fun. like a roller-coaster ride.

the indians have outscored the stanks by 12 runs and are down 2-1 in the series. twins up by 2.5 now. more than they were before the "big" four game series with the tribe.

they have nobody to blame but themselves if they don't. i didn't know the stanks record was that good. they might be too far ahead to catch even if the twins bury the stiffs in the division. and i doubt houston's going to catch them either. looks like it'd be the astros in the first round of the playoffs if they win the division.

i bet new york doesn't want to face the indians in round one.

well that's the thing-i think the twins have a better chance against the skanks. new york had a good recipe to beat the indians yesterday though. got five innings from their starter and then went to the BP for an inning apiece. they only gave up one run and it was a 1-2-3 9th for chapman. with their bats they'll still be a tough out in the playoffs if that formula continues to deliver.

i think the indians are pretty good. and they're built for the post-season. i bet stanks fans don't want to face them after what they saw this weekend. they could have been swept and were outscored by 16 runs.
