This is the DEFACTO place to talk Twins Wild Card chances. The Indians have taken over first place and it's time to look at other options.

These are the 4 teams in the WC hunt!

Twins 71-47
Rays 69-50
Athletics 67-51
Red Sox 62-59

Twins need to pick it up or they could tumble down this list too.

Let's start concentrating on getting the Wild Card.
I want the Twins to win the division but it's not looking good.
I don't have a real problem with Cleveland wining the division (if they do) since they have not won a World Series since 1948.
I would NOT want the White Sox, KC was in two World Series in 2014'-15 and won their second championship, Detroit had their chances and should be a big market cash team so screw them.

If the Twins keep playing .500 ball, they won't make the playoffs at all. I can already hear LaVelle and the Twins ballwashers now.

If you would have told us in April that the Twins would have finished over .500 and just out of the playoffs, we all would have been ecstatic.

Just grateful that football season is here. I went to both games on Saturday and Sunday. Cleveland is playing damn good ball right now. I tip my cap to them. The Twins dug their own grave when they didn’t pony up some prospects for pitchers that matter. They knew they needed 1-2 solid starters and bitched out when they actually needed to give up good prospects. Fuck em... and their bullshit WC game. Time to get disappointed by the Vikings now.

Twins team ERA is ranked 16th since the break. I actually thought it would be worse. Only the Yankees have a worse team era in that span(18th). LA, CLE, and HOU all are top 4 since the break. Whether they win the division or not, they don't have the pitching to get it done in the postseason. I think they get in as the second WC spot and lose to the As on the road.
