Whoever actually thinks they are "Heavy favorites" is a moron.

Not sayng they can't win the division but it's tied up with a team who has playoff pedigree. Also, the Twins have played around .500 baseball for almost two months.

Correct. This was a big week for the team and they crashed and burned going 2-5 (all at home) on the way to coughing up four games in seven days to the team chasing them down. Lots of season left, but as of now there is really no reason to believe that the way these two clubs are trending is suddenly going to shift. Moreover, Cleveland's remaining schedule actually isn't that tough. It still slots in well within the easiest 1/3 of schedules remaining across the league. The good news is that there's still plenty of time to change their fortunes, but the days of leaving it up to other teams to do the dirty work for them is over and playing at or around .500 isn't gonna cut it.

On a related note, the Twins are 3-8 in Berrios' last eleven starts (the wins coming against KC, CWS, and Miami). Sure, the offense hasn't given him much help, but the fact of the matter is that he's not doing what it takes to will his team to victories in tight ballgames, he's just not. Maybe that day will come someday and I think that it probably will, but isn't happening yet.

There was a 3rd base coach for the Twins named Karl Kuehl. They used to call him "Send them home Karl". Fans would yell at him, "Send him home Karl." He had a track record of getting guys thrown out at home just like today but usually a lot worse. This was at the old outdoor Met Stadium and in the Dome.
He had a long career before he was ever with the Twins, He was a player, coach etc. =

I don't have a real problem with Cleveland wining the division (if they do) since they have not won a World Series since 1948.
I would NOT want the White Sox, KC was in two World Series in 2014'-15 and won one, Detroit had their chance and should be a big market cash team.
