Also, Cave is was faster than Adrianza if you want a PR.

Sick of getting thrown out on the paths.
It was a horrible send. The ss had the ball as Adrianza rounded third.

There was a 3rd base coach way back who fans would get mad at for sending runners home and getting out by a mile. He was at the Met and maybe Metrdome

rogers wasn't the pitcher to bring in after two innings the night before. that's been proven right now.

Just came here to say, I think our 3rd base coach is far sighted. Maybe he should get a new prescription.

That reminded me of the Eric Foxx homerun when Oakland beat us in 1992 and we were never the same. :pissed:

No one with an ounce of intelligence thought this team could hold on to this division with this shit pitching staff. It was just a matter of time. Typical ownership... sign a bunch of s*** in the offseason hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.

Do we have an explanation for why Rocco did it?

Even though Rogers messed up, hard to put the loss on him. He had heavy pitches last night (when Romo really only had one guy to get out and could have stayed in to set up the 9th, not just saying that now said it last night as well), the hitting was weak most of the game today and they deserved to lose just for that, and the 3rd base snafoo doesn't help but those kind of small mistakes have been made all season with this team.

Only the Twins can inflict a blown save and still figure out a way to lose nearly 100% of the time.

Fucked up Hand both times they saw him in this series and still lost both times.

an 11 game lead in the division and they are now tied with Cleveland before mid-august.

Lets be real about this, did we really expect that the twins wouldn't choke this away....

welcome to trying to get a wild card spot.

i have no idea-but i said last night that i wasn't so sure about using rogers for a six out save with a three run lead because you just might need him again today. he was so panicked about getting that victory last night that he wasn't really thinking sunday.

less than 16 hours later he goes to rogers and after that hit on his first pitch i'd say that rogers didn't trust his stuff. a four pitch walk to lindor, the bunt hit and then falling behind santana before the grand slam.

i've seen enough of that to not put rogers in that situation. it seems rocco's yet to learn.

Well, one positive is the Indians plays 3 against Boston and 4 in NY this week.

That's a brutal road.

Twins can't take care of their own business so let's see if someone else can help them.
