I'm not worried...they'll be just fine without him.

Getting hit by a pitch might not be "his fault"....but this guy must need more "something" in his diet because he is always getting injured..
(Slaps a mosquito on his leg....probably need to worry about a deep thigh bruise)

While this is not his fault, I would like to point out that I can't even remember the last time the Twins announced an expected amount of time for injury and it wasn't drastically short.

If they say he is day to day, I expect the 4-6 week DL.
If they say he is out for 4-6 weeks, I expect to see him a couple months into NEXT season.

10 day IL retroactive to last Friday so hopefully this upcoming Monday....

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it's longer.

most potent number nine bat in the AL. you really don't know how the last two games turn out if he's healthy and in the lineup-couldn't turn out any worse that's for sure.

hurry back byron!

Yeah Buxton not coming back on Tues makes me wonder if his wrist is more injured than they let on. Now Rosario is on the IL, we got lucky with Kepler.

Byron Buxton is “getting close to his return” from the injured list, MLB.com’s Do-Hyoung Park tweets. Buxton was sidelined on June 18 (IL placement retroactive to June 15) with a wrist contusion after being hit by a pitch, and while the Twins outfielder has already exceeded the 10-day minimum IL stint, the injury isn’t considered to be serious. Buxton was expected to face live pitching today in the Twins’ indoor batting cage, though rain kept him participating in on-field batting, Park notes. Buxton’s all-around play has been a key factor in Minnesota’s rise to the top of the AL Central, as he has provided his usual excellent center field defense and baserunning while also hitting .266/.324/.527 with nine homers over 227 plate appearances.

You guys shoulda seen my Byron Buxton catch tonight ran into the fence and everything. I heard a couple "Buxton!" calls from my team mates.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Cave sucks...Buxton needs to figure out when to sacrifice his body...against the Marlins might not be best

Cave is terrible..
I'd rather have Gibson out there then him..(I get he's pitching today)

He could field as well, and probably hit better.

Hell a Phillies pitcher played left field last night in extras and made a diving catch, threw a guy out at home and almost threw a second out.

Let's remember Gibson was considered as an OF option just a few weeks ago...

And he has only 2 errors in his entire career..
