I wouldn't even do any of those for a (soon to be in July) 35 year old Scherzer. No thanks.

Only way I trade one or both of them are for a pitcher ranging from 26-30 years old like a Syndergaard.

I don't care how old he is. The velocity and stamina are still there. Lots of great pitchers have been effective into their late 30s.

A lots have broken down quickly. It's a gamble I'm not making with two big prospects like Lewis & AK.

I'd be more than happy trading them for a big, younger arm 30 and under.
