Man, them Pohlads are raking in the cash. Will they invest it in the team? Who knows?
I'd guess no.

It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

I agree with part of that.... the average person has no clue who most of baseball's stars are today.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 9:40 am http://www.startribune.com/twins-have-t ... 509330312/
Baseball needs to find a way to market their players. The average person has no clue who most of baseballs stars are today. It's a far departure from when i was growing up and pro baseball players were by far the most recognizable.
It's not just the Twins as this article states.
The MLS soccer leagues are bringing in higher attendance per game than many of these teams.
But find me 1 person in Minnesota who can name a player on Minnesota's soccer team.
There's no one here.... who has the slightest interest in that team. There are like ten people who want to see the new stadium.... and that's about it.
They are basically the Lynx. Except for they don't have the NBA keeping their league alive.

They haven't even begun to win the fans back on the level they want.
Give us 4-5 good seasons of consistency, otherwise....NO.
It's gonna be a long road back and well deserved.

Or one great season.
If this team makes it to the ALCS and makes it competitive or even the World Series, the mess that was the 2010s will be forgotten.
Look at the attendance at the shit hole Metrodome when the Twins were competitive from 02'-09'. And those good teams made one ALCS and got smoked.
