Look at it this way, he got 6 straight hitters after the 4 runs.

That's actually a really good comparison.

Amazingly, Clark managed to get wood each and every time he watched Mauer work that count for a walk.

Ordorizzi had 6 strikeouts in the first two innings and it still felt like a 45 minute root canal of nibbling.
I'm glad he often holds down the other squad, but it is going to take about 100 pitches in 5 innings to do it.

Will the slim and trim Meijia give up another run this year?

If they don't someone else will.

Honorable mention to the offense for catching their limit and refusing to put this game in the bag.

@MillerStrib
No surprise, but tonight's rain-delayed game sets a new attendance low in Target Field history: 11,465. The last four games have included the stadium's four smallest crowds ever.

and now the score is tied because Cron thinks he would rather make a backwards catch than to let the right fielder run and catch it.

not soon enough though. another critical decision or non-decision for rocco going the wrong way. now the bats have to come to the rescue.

Way far off from a sweep I’m afraid.

1-3 against one of the worst teams in the league.

Rocco should be coaching Quad Cities or the Saints.

He is out of his league (pun intended).

I'm not going to blame Rocco. This still isn't that great of a team.

You could get Sparky Anderson in here and you are not consistently winning with the payroll the Pohlads throw out.

From Terry Ryan to Billy Smith now Fav/Lavine. To Gardy, Molly and now Rocco, there is one constant. Bad owners.

If they were playing a good or even average team I'd tend to agree with you, but Whisker was right.

Even the Twins should have won or at the very least split the series against Toronto and Baldelli doesn't seem to have a feel of when to pull what strings.

Give the guy a little time. What is he 17 games into his managerial career?
