Buxton needs to stay right where he is at. 2 weeks is not gonna make me a believer that he's turned it around. If his OBP is still north of .340 in June, I'd consider moving him up. Right now, if it ain't broke, don't fix it with Buxton.

leaving Mejia in after he gave up the first run with the 3rd straight rocket hit, and couldn't throw anything that wasn't a) way off the plate or b) 93 over the outside middle sweet spot barrel zone was pretty ridiculous.

growing pains for the manager. i continue to point out mistakes in hindsight is 20/20 chat not because i don't think rocco can't be a good manager-but because there was always sniping when molitor looked bad the day after. i have no problem with a managerial change for the new regime-but i still think that the manager of the year in 2017 was a pretty good one.
