Ha, not yet. Soon though? I'm fine with Garver and Astudillo sharing time.

I'd like for this to happen, but apparently the Twins pitchers love Castro behind the plate.

La Tortuga is hitting .368 in 100 career at bats. That's the best career batting average of any player with 100 AB's or more.
Ty Cobb is second at .366.

C'mon, Sal. We're on the verge of opening day. It's time to pick up your game.
I quit watching last year at a certain point because I'm sick of this shit the Twins pull to lower salary.
Stop worrying about the owners and just cheer for the players.
Or I can do both. The owners deserve the label "worst owners in all of sports".
And the players deserve to be cheered for. I just wish they players had owners that would back them up salary wise at times.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

He currently has the rare feat of having a higher batting average than OBP.

The sound of the whiners still crying is our new theme song. We're gonna win Twins they're gonna cry.

We'd be 5-0 is it wasn't for the worst owners in sports. Glen taylor is waving at you from down the block/

Saw this and chuckled.

Someone: do who do you think is the best player in baseball?
Twins fan: Willians Astudillo
Someon: ha, right... but seriously who do you think?
Twins fan with a straight face and a little annoyed now: Willians Astudillo

SQ: How did it take a guy that plays catcher and can actually hit so long to find his way on to a MLB roster?

Also, how does a guy that swings at pretty much everything strike out so infrequently?

Both solid questions that I look forward to hearing an answer to.

It's like the story 'Rudy', except for the fact that the Tortuga is actually more skilled than all the other players.

Rocco should be finding a way to get him at bats at least 4 games a week right?
