Isn't Royce Lewis the guy everyone was saying is one of our top two prospects?
(I'm not sure about this, I just thought this was the guy)

If so, is this just a bad sign of where our farm system is at right now?
He is not having a great year, but that doesn't mean he is a bad prospect. He is playing better as of late, especially with the long ball.
OK. Good to hear he's coming out of it.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Yeah, it has been a down year for him. Disappointing after having a really good year last year.

Keep in mind that he is playing in a league that the average age is 22.4, so he is going against a lot of guys that have at least 2 years more development than him.

On the bright side, he is still showing flashes of all the tools that made him a #1 pick.
Ahhh, Also good to know.

Royce Lewis is hitting .316 in the month of July. He is trending in the right direction. I really hope he doesn't get traded. He may not be a star but I think he's a winner. The Jeter comps are a good comparison, at least at this point.

Anyone that is comparable to Jeter should not be traded for anything other than an insane trade.

I was going to say something like this. He was a catch lightning in a bottle type of signing.

Hey, Rock Me...who is this Jordan Balazovic kid.

Was just checking MLB.com's top 30 Twins prospects, and don't recall this kid ever being on there, now all of a sudden, I check the list again as the trade deadline approaches, and he was like #6 three hours ago, now I check again and he's #4, and #82 on the top 100.

He has been our most rapidly rising prospect in the last year or so. Big Canadian right hander whose velocity and K rate has increased since being drafted in the 5th round in 2016. Balazovic, Graterol and Duran gives us three projected frontline starters that will all have a shot at seeing the show in 2021 maybe even 2020 (if they don’t get traded this deadline).

Side note the 2016 draft got us Kirilloff, Miranda, Balazovic, Baddoo, Jax, Rortvedt. 6 of our top 30 prospects with 2 that are top 5.
