Kinda surprised If they make Kepler our new lead off guy over Polanco. This is the second time we've seen this lineup in the last week. I suppose he has better plate discipline.

looks like it's the plan starting out. i don't imagine him being a lead-off hitter though. we'll see.

His walk rate increased last year and they believe it's a trend. Also, Polanco is a switch hitter and better suited for #2.

I just caught myself getting excited about the Twins batting order possibilities. Next thing I'm going to do is plan how I'm spending my power ball ticket winnings!

If Rosario and Cruz can hit 60 home runs with averages above .270 and .255; we'll be an interesting team.

After the game, MLB Network has a 2 hour examination of the Twins. It's part of their 30 teams in 30 days. It will be interesting to hear what the experts think of their chances now and in the future.

What did they say?
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

The offense should be good. We have that at least.

What did they say?
They liked the offseason acquisitions and both Dan Plesac and Harold Reynolds predicted them to win the division. I'm optimistic but not willing to go that far. I think next season is their year.

I mean, the Indians outfield is a disaster so it's there for the taking but yeah, I'm with you. Don't think we can do it.
Wouldn't be surprised if we did though.

The Indians still have a really good rotation. That's the difference right now.

Was there on Monday with my family. Good times! Renovated Hammond Stadium was nice!

Flew back with Pineda's brother yesterday. Nice guy.
