I agree. Brewers starters aren’t the best but they were good enough to dispose the Rockies in 3. Different animal with the Dodgers though obviously. Pulling for the brew crew in 7

i was certainly thinking of county stadium. an eastern wisconsin version of the old met. loved to make the trip to milwaukee and go to outdoor baseball games back in the day.

dodgers make it a game against the brewers bullpen. i think they take game two.

the longer this game stays scoreless the better the brewers odds of winning the game. these guys are on a run like the rockies were when they went to the WS all those years ago. and i'd be worried if i was LA and not getting the lead yet.

the Dodgers do have some other pinch hitting options...
any of their SPs decent hitters?
Would anyone question if Madison Baumgartner was used as a PH?

Ryu (who wasn't an option) hit .269 this year. He makes pretty decent contact. Kershaw has been decent this year, but that's an outlier.

I didn't feel like looking up the batting of the Dodgers pitchers, but obviously anyone of them that hadn't played was an option also.

The Dodgers just have so much depth in their roster...

That said, if Hader was available last night, the Crew probably closes that one out. So I like their chances tomorrow assuming that Hader pitches.

Yep.

Unfortunate that this time around he has to face that buzzsaw of a lineup to change that perception, but it is what it is. It's amazing that Astros team didn't win 120 games, but they probably just got bored.

He should have probably just signed with an NL team which would have nearly guaranteed him a postseason series or two against a 88-95 win team at least once every postseason.

one all in both the AL and NL series with all teams showing they can win on the road. hopefully that means that they go back to boston and milwaukee to finish them off.

figured that post would be the kiss of death. i didn't like the brewers staying with that pitcher after he got out of the seventh. and turner made them pay for that decision.
