great sixth inning for the locals and then molitor got boxed by melvin in the bottom of the inning. it took replacing the pinch-hitter with another one before he faced a pitch. but molitor bit and a couple of pitchers later you got the boom. melvin one molitor 0 in this one. that's the way it goes. actually i was thinking they maybe should have pulled berrios on the batter he got the second strike out from-so it was a tricky situation. last night it just went the A's way. that happens more often or not playing the team with the better record though.

A's can't do it themselves so Polanco and Mauer team up for an error and then Hildenberger records the 2nd out with the bases juiced on an 11 pitch at bat and proceeds to throw the very next pitch to the next hitter to the backstop for a walk of wild pitch.
