The Wild lucked in somehow into having probably 1 of the 5 best players in the NHL..
Kaprizov is the real deal..

In Wild history...there are only 2 other players that can be compared to him in talent..Gabby and Burns.....and he comes out on top.
(Although I would like to know what a healthy Gaborik career might've looked like)

The Wild lucked in somehow into having probably 1 of the 5 best players in the NHL..
Kaprizov is the real deal..

In Wild history...there are only 2 other players that can be compared to him in talent..Gabby and Burns.....and he comes out on top.
(Although I would like to know what a healthy Gaborik career might've looked like)

Gabby ends up with a really good career despite the injury bug....shame he couldn't stay healthy but it wouldn't have mattered to us anyway since he bolted.

I still make the deal. Granny was just so meh here and didn't seem like we'd ever see him reach the next level. Yes, he's having a good year to date but he still is a guy with average speed and an average shot while Fiala has elite speed and although he's not scoring this year he has a much better shot than Granny. It certainly was not a ridiculous trade imho.
