Well, we all knew Mikko wasn't going to play again for the Wild so no big surprise, but kind of a sad day for me as I always loved havin Mikko on our Wild. The team hit a homerun by drafting him and the guy has been absolutely a first class citizen on and off the ice his entire career. Yes, we would have liked a little more "O"fence outta Mikko, but goodness sakes.....he was a darn good 2 way player. Here are some wonderful highlights.....thanks for the memories Mikko!!

Not sad in the least to see Doobs leave, but will always be thankful for his service....the guy may have single handidly saved the Wild that first year he played here and gave them a few really solid seasons. Best wishes to Doooooooooooooooob!

I don't understand getting rid of Donato.

Why would you get rid of the young guys? We all know who needs to be gotten rid of.

I'm not on it enough to know either. I asked this elsewhere and the reply (legit or not?) was:

Donato was young, and wasn't going to fit here given the players in the top6 ahead of him. Was never going to work as a 3rd line guy, and I think, deserved better than 4th line minutes.

fwiw. Not sure I buy not working as a 3rd line guy but it's hard for me to watch Wild games so what do I know.
