2019 Stanley Cup playoff thread
To most of us here this is the best time of the year. The Stanley Cup playoffs. Nothing better. I’ll be home on my couch as much as possible watching as much as possible. Before the season I had Jets over the Leafs in 6. Don’t see that now but I’ll have to stick with it. Let the intensity begin

Lots of first round underdog picks to win the cup here!
Not many strong finishes in the West. I'll take the Blues there.
The East should go to whoever wins the Lightning/Bruins second round series.
I'll go Lightning over Blues, in 6.

Any good luck charms want to post something to improve the Wild's 3% chance of winning the lottery tonight?Jimtown guy wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 11:58 amA11909A1-4BBF-4FDD-91F3-EEFDE2B62D35.jpegThe Replacements wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 10:17 am Do we need to start a Win the Lottery or Draft thread?

Who do the Wild play in the first round? I live outside hockey country so I don't get much news.
I will follow them in the playoffs though, I will probably have to stream games on internet.

Once again a 3 goal lead haunts a team. Bolts up 3-0 only to see the Jackets comeback and win it 4-3.

Isles win it in OT. Nice that there’s no skills exhibitions to decide games from here on out.Jimtown guy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:18 pm First overtime of the playoffs goes to the Isle and Pens. Tied at 3

You got that right. Aside from the Sharks stomping of the Knights the other 4 games were all one goal games. Great start to the playoffsJustin Kase wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 10:24 pmIsles win it in OT. Re: 2019 Stanley Cup playoff thread
I parlayed the Pens and Preds to advance out of the first round, so I've got that going for me. That's all the action I have.
I considered the Sharks, but I didn't want to root against Vegas. Last night's game was very one-sided.
I'm pumped to see what tonight brings along with some Frozen Four action!

Jets are in trouble. Blues are the one team who can match up with them physically and they showed that Wednesday night. But I picked the Jets before the season started but with that said I think the Blues win in 6

Re: 2019 Stanley Cup playoff thread
This is complete BS....so the NHL is going to allow Vegas to add a player...during the playoffs...(just a little past the deadline)
I get the "technicality" of why...but it isn't right.

No doubt Gus. Nothing better than game 7’s during the playoffs.Hornets wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 10:47 amI think all of us puck rubes would be fine if ALL the series went 7! Nuthin better than game 7's!
