The Wild need a good backup goalie. Stalock is average. Good NHL teams/organizations have backup goalie that's on the verge of being a starter in the league. Stalock could never start in this league.

No, I like Dubs. You can tell he's sick of being cross-checked, net crashed, etc... without his D-men flinching. Goalies are a different creature mentally, they are a sensitive breed that need to have at least a couple of tough D-men who have their back. Watching Suter loly-gag to the corner so he can "meet" with a player vs. get to the puck first take the hit, leaves a goalie pretty deflated mentally. Dubs is losing "hope" and "confidence" in the guys in front of him. I've seen it time and again a good goalie trying his ass off, with sucker players in front of him. That weighs on you after a while. It's caught up to him and it's showing.
