Trading Deadline February 25th - Buyers/Sellers?

The trading deadline is 10 days away and I believe the Wild will be sellers. Thoughts on what should happen?

To a point. They should trade Staal to a contender like Nashville or Tampa Bay. He gone after this year anyway.

Keep the core of Coyle, Zucker, Dumba, Spurgeon, Foligno and Greenway.

I'll take it one step further....trade ANYONE if you think it can help the team. Can't trade Zach, Ryan, and Mikko with their contracts, but desperate times demand desperate measures. No one should be held sacred at this point.

They should sell, but if they are gonna go full rebuild don't get an established player that will be worse 3-4 years from now than he is now like Rask. Need really young established players, prospects, or draft picks in return and in that order of preference.

Is there anybody on our roster that could actually net a young, established player? That would be my preference as well but I don't think teams would give that up for what we have to offer.

If it were us trying to get a player to make a cup run who would you give up a good young player for? Parise, maybe, but who can take on his deal? Granny, Zuck, Coyle, Stahl I probably wouldn't give anything other than picks or prospects for.

That's all this team is. A bunch of nice/decent bit-players that can be plugged into the middle/bottom-end of your lineup to create good depth. We got a team full of players that would boost your 3rd line and or 4-6th d-man rotation.

If nothing else the Wild do a good job of accumulating singular players that rely on alpha males to create ice/space/time/plays etc for them.
If any of our players go to a team with Alpha-like players, they will likely find success ala: Nino.

It's literally a horrible spot to be in and all the bullsh-t times we passed on Alpha-male players and acquired non-alpha-male's- is finally starting to catch up to the Wild.

*But just remember they made the playoffs 6 times in a row!

Russo just reported now both Carolina and Vegas are interested in Zucker. One thing to note that Vegas is also very interested in Stone so maybe Zucker becomes a fall back too
