I thought Hockey Day in Minnesota was in TWO weeks but now find out it's NEXT week! Looks like it could be a cold one for those outdoor games!

Having our first ever North Dakota Hockey Day here in town next weekend too. My peewee team starts the day out playing at 8:30 am. Suppose to get to -22 Saturday morning with a high of 4. Much like the weather I grew up in playing outside until we got an indoor rink when I was 13. Kids nowadays I’d imagine will be human popsicles

Never forget when the feet would finally thaw out. Felt like a million needles sticking in them. Made us tough though

I loved the sound of the puck hitting the chain fencing of the net, and the fun of trying to push the puck through the snow....yes, it DID make us tough and those memories will be with us forever!
