Might have more to do with 3 goals in 4 games....
No doubt they miss the NHLs second leading defensemans goal scoring prowess
LOL.

No doubt. Would like Hole to respond and let us know if there is ONE player on the Wild that he approves of...

The Wild clearly miss Dumba and it's no coincidence that the offense has dried up in his absence. Although Dumba is not a perfect player and has his weaknesses (although I wouldn't consider one of them to be "soft") he is certainly one of the more gifted players on the team and with the possible exception of Grandlund, is the most dynamic. Is he Scott Stevens or Chris Pronger? Nope, but he is a really good player who's only real flaw is being relatively small. We shoudln't hate or even dislike him for that.

An average Dman on a average team.

If Dumba, Matt f-ckin Dumba- was a key cog to your offense/team....you'd think that would show the fanbase how average of a team this has always been. (the CD player in your 2001 Bonneville is broke, and now you think it's a sh-t car????)

It's hilarious how hockey fishbowl this state is. The "state of hockey"- no other hockey players exist outside the boundaries of MN.

Subban, Hedman, Calrson, Karlsson, Burns, Jones, Josi, , Pietrangelo, Byfuglien, Doughty, Letang, Ellis, Krug, etc. Don't exist.

But let's talk about how important Matt f-ckin Dumba is to an average slumping NHL beta-male, non Stanley cup contender ever-since he's been here, zero lock-down Dman, that locks down ZERO studs from apposing teams, average Dman.

You want fishbowl? Vikings fans are worse than Wild in the fishbowl game.

Here’s the deal Hole. A handful of froobs on here know what the Wild are made of. Yes they are soft, yes they lack finishers, yes Doobs is hot and cold, and so on. Asides from Gus, aka Hornet, none of us expected this team to even make the playoffs. Yeah they teased us for a bit but then December rolled around and they are now where I and most thought they would be. It gets old no doubt and until those 3 terrible contracts are done it will be pretty much the same. No duckies and bunnies here.

Who are they going to trade for? No one since the season was over before it started.Goodbye Bruce, hello Joel Quinville. You can't tell me that Leapold isn't considering it? The biggest "C'mon Man" ?

Wait; who is the third truly terrible contract?

He’s probably referring to that extension they gave Koivu with a no movement clause that the Wild are on the hook for through next season. Given the shorter length it’s not as bad as the others but the fact that the gave him a NMC to sweeten the deal was preposterous.

A 2-year deal for a center at that money is hardly a franchise killer. I don't think it is a bad deal at all.

I'm even fine with the Parise and Suter contacts right now and for a couple more seasons. There's just no way that they won't be killers for 3-4 seasons at the end. Can't even fault Fletcher for those; at the time they were written, the last couple years could just be voided with no cap penalty.
