Keeper League Question: Can you draft a college stud late?

Post by Falen's Boyfriend »

In our league, you can keep up to 2 players. Example: If you decide to keep a player you drafted last year in the 5th round, he becomes your 3rd round pick this year.

I'm wondering if last year I could have drafted Saquon Barkley in our last (16th) round. If I had, I could keep him this year and he would be my 14th round pick! ESPN has him ranked #6 overall in this year's draft. GENIUS!!!

This is only my 2nd year in a keeper league so I don't know if something like this is normally allowed. I don't want to ask my league's other owners because I don't want to tip my hand. Does anyone have any experience with such an idea? Is it typically allowed?

Subquestion: Who is next year's Saquon Barkley?

I'd kill for someone to try this shit at my draft.

I love those real life "they can't really be this fucking dumb?" moments.

It's the type of fantasy draft move that makes years of memories.

GO FOR IT!!!
