Giants +6 looked good. Line has fallen slightly since.

Sharps seem to be pounding Tennessee too? Opened at +6.

I think the Giants line is down to +4.5. I'm staying away from that.

I think Rodgers and Jones will their way with the Vikings defense. My stomach hurts typing that.

I like Tennessee, should have jumped on +6 early.

bailing on bets...

After having a good day betting on Bovada, and nearly doubling my money, I placed a heafty bet on Pitt to beat SD. Things were looking good, but now SD has caught completely up. Played a loophole, and placed a bet on SD at the end of the third quarter when they were +135...now, I can't lose money.

Well, I can lose a few bucks on this one game if Pitt wins, will win a couple extra if SD wins, but on the day, It'll still be like the Pitt bet never even happened.

I know it's our team, but Seattle money line just screams cash to me. I found $20 bucks in an old betting account about 6 months ago and I have it up to $875! With the latest help being the Patriots money line last week. I'm contemplating letting it BTO tonight or waiting until the Vikings playoff game. If your team is going to blow it in big games, might as well profit off it. Blair Walsh game netted me $1,600.

Anyone betting tonight?

Some nice bets this week. Have to stay away for a bit though. Blew a couple hundred on a bad boxing bet a few weekends ago.

Playoff probably. Going to go hard on the Vikings. Shouod be dogs in RD #1 with the most talented team.

Love Indy at home. GMen might get shutout 2 weeks in a row. Like Cowboys, Pats, Vikings and Pathhers with Taylor Heinike.

Oh, and I had the Spurs -4 last night. :humper:

Time to get this thread "Lubed" back up.

Anyone like anything this week? I stay away from week one and sometimes #2 until I get a feel for teams.

Picks i like this week.

I'll give GB 6.5 and take the Bears at +130

I also like the Texans straight up over the Saints at +250

Intrigued by the Bears and Packers matchup on Thursday. Vegas and gamblers low on the Bears. Theyre still the favorite, but the money line is enticing. NFC champs opening at home for a primetime game...that team is going to be pumped up. But they might be pretenders. I think I'm staying away from this game...but if I were to bet on it, I'm staying the fuck away from the spread, or the winner, I would bang the fuck out of the under of 46.5. This game screams 15-24.

Other games I might bet on...

KC covering the spread (-3.5) vs JAX
Indi covering +7 vs the Chargers
Oakland straight up vs Denver

hometown take too...I typically don't bet on hometown teams, but if I were to, I'd take the under 48 for ATL vs MN. Xavier typically shuts down big WR's like Julio, and if ATL doesn't have Julio that game, they arent scoring many points. Pass interference replay might play a role though. Xavier gets handsy. Haven't seen the odds yet, but could probably cash on throwing money on Thielen and Diggs getting a TD...if you bet on both and just one of them gets a TD, youre cashing.

Under 47? I mean, I think it will be too but by a sniff. I'd tease that but no way I'd outright that as one of my bets.

Week 2 is upon us, grab your coffee, rub the sleepies out of your eyes and place some bets.

MIN +2.5 (I should have popped when the line opened at +3). I think they win outright, but i'll pay a little juice for 2.5 points.
LAC -1.5
BUF -2 (This is the Bill's second game on the "road" playing in their home state to start the season. I think they're a .500 team with a good defense.)
DAL -5.5

Steelers -3 for official bet.

2 team tease of Vikings +10 and Texans -2 for a sweat during the vikes game.

The pulled pork has been prepped and the beer has been purchased. The buddies will be here around 11 for a quick game of turbo style poker before the kick. Enjoy vikes v pack today folks. I know I will.
